The proposed development included a side extension to the existing compound building. Two trees were to be retained whilst several shrubs and one small tree required removal, recommendations were made for replacement planting. Specialist advice was given to ensure that excavations within the rooting area of the retained trees did not result in any long-term harm. An Arboricultural Impact Assessment with a Tree Protection Plan was produced showing tree removal and tree protection measures for the retained trees.
